Juicing
Juicing is all the craze now. There are more and more documentaries coming out about juicing and the one that really caught my eye was Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. I had been juicing since 2007 when I watched the Jack La Lang infomercial and went out and purchased a juicer. Since then I have learned an amazing amount of information on the benefits of juicing as well as experienced them. Here I will teach you all I have learned and recipes I have not only tried along the way but created myself. I will also explain the benefits of those juices.
Smoothies are great and have their benefits which I will talk about but smoothies and juicing are different. I will list some smoothies and information but juicing is where it’s at. Let’s explore!

Whole food has been scientifically proven to be the healthiest way to live. It is technically what many call vegan but you can be a vegan and still be very unhealthy. If the food you eat is full of sugar, sodium and refined oil, or is simply completely processed you will be unhealthy.
My goal here is to help you find amazing recipes full of life, not processed to death. Raw food is some of the most amazing food you can eat for your health but I personally love hot food but it is my goal to balance my life and that includes my food, so I will do my best to have an equal amount of raw food and healthy cooked recipes.

You may wonder why gardening is on a website about health. We live in a world full of processed food and chemicals all over our produce. I would like to teach you how to grow your own chemical free, healthy food, no matter where you live!

When I think of apothecary, I don’t just think herbal medicine, which many do. The definition is simply a person who creates and dispenses medicine but to me that can mean so much more when it comes to health. There is a quote by Hippocrates that says, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
For almost 20 years I have studies herbs and natural medicine. Here I will teach you about the amazing verity of herbs that you can use for medicine and herbs you can add to your food to enhance, not only the health, but the flavor that will make health taste amazing.
